"Messy store and frustrating excuses"
I stopped by my local No Frills today, the place felt neglected. A few aisles had sticky floors, and there was a spill near the produce section that looked like it had been sitting there for a while with nobody dealing with it.
The shelves were dusty too, and a couple of the baskets had old receipts and crumbs in them, which just made the whole trip feel kind of gross. When I mentioned it, I got the usual “it’s store policy” type of excuse instead of anyone actually taking responsibility, which was frustrating.
I get that the prices are usually decent, and that’s why I shop there, but cleanliness really needs to be better. I ended up leaving sooner than I planned because I just didn’t feel comfortable shopping in that mess.

"Pickup order was kind of a mess"
I tried ordering through nofrills.ca for pickup it was frustrating. Stuff showed as in stock when I placed the order, then somehow a bunch of it was missing later. And the substitutions were weird too, like I wasn’t really sure how they decided on some of them. The prices are fine, that’s kind of the main reason I shop there, but the whole online ordering part could definitely use some work. Also, pickup took longer than I expected, which made the whole thing more annoying.

"Bad meat and fish both times"
I ordered chicken and salmon from No Frills two times now, and both time the quality was bad. The chicken had this strange smell even before the date was up, and the salmon look dull and kind of slimy.
I get that it’s cheaper, but this just wasn’t okay. I had to throw most of it out, which was really annoying. I don’t think I will be ordering meat or seafood from here again.

"Good produce and an easy ordering process"
I’ve been happy with my orders overall. The fruits and veggies are usually fresh, and the prices feel fair. Every once in a while the berries get soft a little quicker than I’d like, but most of the time everything is in good shape. The whole process is easy too, which makes it convenient to keep ordering.

"The staff were helpful here and..."
The staff were helpful here and there, but they weren’t always around when I needed something. I kind of got the feeling they were avoiding certain questions, which made me a little suspicious. Not terrible, but it could definitely be better

"Pretty good prices most weeks"
I shop here often and the prices are usually better than a lot of other stores. The weekly deals help alot too, so it’s kinda my go-to when I’m trying to save a bit

"Easy enough to shop without any hassle"
I use nofrills.ca often, and overall it’s been easy to get around. The categories are clear, and the search usually gets me to what I need quickly. I also like that the flyer and deals aren’t buried somewhere hard to find. Checkout is simple too. It’s not the fanciest site, and every now and then something takes an extra click, but nothing that really bothers me. It does what I need without making grocery shopping feel like a chore.

"Checkout lines are kinda a drag"
Prices are decent, but man, checking out can take forever most days. There are only a couple lanes open, and even self-checkout gets super backed up. It’s not the worst thing ever, just kinda annoying when you’re trying to get in and out.

"Pickup times don’t really mean anything"
I’ve tried No Frills pickup twice now and delivery once, and I’m frustrated. The pickup windows made it seem like everything was on track, but both times I ended up sitting in the parking lot for over an hour with barely any update. Then delivery got moved around, finally showed up the next day, and still had missing items. I totally understand stores get busy, but the whole thing gives mixed signals and feels really unreliable. I don’t think I’ll be using it again.

"Return process was easy"
I had to return an item and it was simple. The refund came through like they said it would, it just took a few days to show up. No major hassle, so I’m happy with it.

I usually end up finding what I need here, which is really convenient. It saves me time, and I feel like it’s a reliable place to shop when I don’t want to waste effort looking around...

"I went in looking for the flyer..."
I went in looking for the flyer deals, none of the ones I wanted were there or they weren’t the same price in store. It happened with deal after deal, and it was really frustrating. Felt like I wasted my time, totally wasted my time.
